About Le Petit Smash

  • Le Petit Smash was founded in 2003, in Paris, France. It came out of a desire from Valerie Albaret, a 25 year experienced head-coach and manager, to teach tennis to youth with a specific method to maximize their potential.

The key to Valerie’s method “Evolutiv’Tennis ®” is to create exercice-games with adapted material and spaces depending on the abilities and age of the child. At first, in the 90’s, teachers like Valerie were pioneers in France and few years later, those methods were developed nationally...

  • Valerie found her inspiration and motivation working with the legendary coach Nick Bollettieri at the IMG/Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, FL.

With 17 coaches, 550 students, from 3 to 18 years old, the tennis club soon became the most prominent in the Parisian League, participants included a national 12yrs old champion and multiple regional champions.
The Club was one of the top ranked in Paris for the children accomplishments.

  • Valerie was the head coach of Racing Club of France (#1 club in France)

Founder of Le Petit Smash, top 10 club of Paris Tennis League. The club received special label, “elite club”, from French Tennis Federation. Invented the special teaching method, Évolutiv’ Tennis®, which developed junior regional and national champions and top international players. Coached Victoria Duval, ranked 168 in the world. The official representative in France of IMG/Nick Bollettieri Academy. Was highly regarded by Patrick Simon, ex-National coach of French Tennis Federation.

  • For Valerie Albaret, competition was not the only goal, she started developing programs that would promote a balanced life as well for both leisure and competition.

The programs enable students to gain valuable tools for their lives present and future: by being physically fit, goal oriented, socially involved and qualified for scholarships.

  • In 2013, a decade after its creation, Le Petit Smash USA was founded with the same passion, dedication and love of tennis.
